After a 4-4 draw in their last meeting, expectations of a good game of football were justifiably high.

Tottenham Hotspur with zero points from their first two games needed at least a point to alleviate the pressure that soon starts to build if you have a bad start.

Chelsea had most of the possesion and at times Spurs were under severe pressure.

Against the run of play Darren Bent scored for Spurs.
A low cross from Giovani was fired goalwards by Bent deflecting off John Terry into the side-netting.

Spurs hung on for a point despite late Chelsea pressure.

If you can go to Stamford Bridge and take a point you need a good defence and/or lots of luck.

Spurs fans will be happier than Chelsea fans who'll quite rightly see this as two home points dropped.
