Royal British Legion - Gibraltar

British Legion Poppy AppealThe Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants.

Currently, nearly 10.5 million people are eligible for our support and we receive thousands of calls for help every year.

The Legion was founded in 1921 as a voice for the ex-Service community and over 380,000 members continue to ensure that this voice does not go unheard. Although the needs of ex-Service people have changed over the years, we are still there to safeguard their welfare, interests and memory.

British service people are in action around the world every day of the year. They know that if they need our support - now or in the future - the Legion is always on active duty for them.

GSPCA: Dogs Need Homes

Can you give a home to one of these young dogs?

Gibraltar Photos 1

Their owner became ill and unfortunately passed away.

Gibraltar Photos 2

The GSPCA are caring for the dogs but they need permanent homes.

Gibraltar Photos 3

None of the dogs have names yet.

Gibraltar Photos 4

The one nearest camera with the longer coat is described as being 'very mellow'.

Gibraltar Photos 5

The black and tan dog would suit an active family.

Gibraltar Photos

A bit of love and attention and these dogs will make fantastic pets.

Gibraltar Photos

The white dog is a bit timid, due to lack of socialisation, but since the GSPCA charity walk, and a bit of exposure to new surroundings, he is coming along great, and will make a nice pet.

You can see more photos of the dogs on the GSPCA Charity Walk 2009 page.
Can you give a home to one of these dogs?
