- Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat.
- The bottom three teams will be automatically relegated.
- If two teams finish level on points the head-to-head record between the teams will decide which finishes higher.
- If teams still cannot be separated the team finishing highest will be the one with the best goal difference.
