Liverpool have signed Robbie Keane for £19million which could rise to £20.3million.

Keane has agreed a four-year deal at Anfield after undergoing a medical at Liverpool's Melwood training ground.

He could form a formidable partnership in attack with Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt.

Liverpool have clinched the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri from Palmeiras.

The 25-year-old has signed a four-year contract.

Cavalieri joins fellow Brazilians Lucas and Fabio Aurelio at the Merseyside club.

Cavalieri joins the club knowing Pepé Reina is the first choice keeper.

The 17-year-old former Herfolge player, who was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, has been on trial with Heerenveen.
