Stoke City have signed Amdy Faye from Charlton for an undisclosed fee and Abdoulaye Faye from Newcasltle United for £2.25 million.

This should strengthen Stoke's defence and midfield.

Abdoulaye Faye is an excellent header of the ball and has solid Premier league experience. He's signed a three year deal.

Amdy Faye is a solid tackler and also has lots of experience. He's signed a one year contract.

Both are ex-Newcastle players. Both are Senagalese internationals.
